I feel very sorry for this man’s Children And family.
That said, I struggle to find empathy for the man himself.
He was under investigation by the FBI for insider trading.
Imagine being a CEO of a company and making millions of dollars every year, giving yourself bonuses well at the same time increasing premiums on the insurance people desperately need to live and then denying claims for coverage that you need to actually live to survive to exist in this world to continue to exist in the world And at the same time committing insider trading so that you can once again retain your assets and your resources while watching everybody else who didn’t have the insider information that you had crash and burn.
Yeah, I struggle significantly with empathy for this man.

Condolences to Mr Thompson's family, but let's be honest how many people have died due to denied claims from this CEO sociopath.

This is a concern, none of these CEO's have ever been criminally charged and none of them have ever been sentenced to time in prison. Let's consider Boeing's CEO, who has just been acquitted. So, in my perspective, this could potentially bring some justice to some, but it's not just about that. It's also about ensuring that a new CEO is appointed who understands the impact of their decisions. It could be a positive step forward or a negative turn. It all depends on who that person is, who will be seated in that position. Perhaps this will serve as a reminder for all these CEO's, there is no escape from death. If they want people to act a little more humane, maybe they should act a little more humane. Because getting rid of one person could save how many lives.
