It's past 4am and I remembered this song as I was trying to sleep, and then I searched it through the lyrics I am able to recall. The moment the beginning of the song played, I cried so hard, like I couldn't explain if it was happy or sad tears. And as I went and finished the song, I came to realize that I was a very young boy when I kept playing this over and over before as my lullaby, full of dreams and hoping to have an improved life. Oh Lord, you have such a beautiful way of reminding me of how far I've come. I am in a period of identity crisis right now and you're able to communicate to me and calm me in a very reflective way. ❤

I'm going through and listening to all of your songs on here...they are all so good and they just get better and better to me. I wish I had the talent you and your band had. All I can do is write. Emotion in words has some meaning, but your music has emotion that we can hear and let flow through us. We can tell how emphasized the words are by how you hang onto them, but writing it shows as a simple word. Saying it and singing it make it so much better. I love your music...I truly do.
