Just finished watching the Netflix Eurovision movie and now i'm here again, after so many years lol

You know what I love most about this? This is the version she sang after she'd won, and at the end she changed to lyrics from "I'll rise up to the sky" to "WE'll rise up to sky", and "I'm gonna fly" to "WE'RE gonna fly". 

Her victory wasn't just for her. It was for anyone who'd ever been bullied, teased, or made fun of for simply being who they are. She showed that it doesn't matter how you look on the outside, as long as you're happy with yourself! And that's what makes her and this song so special.

This winner version is SO much better than the ones before!!! The additional confidence and freedom she now emits, the inclusive changing of "i" to "we", the playful index finger gesturing, this sheer radiance and emotion ... no matter if you yourself experienced identity struggles, i believe this performance just reaches deep into any human soul. Bless Conchita's courage! It sure wasn't easy to come this far

I don't know why everyone talks about the identity, instead of talking about the voice. After all these years, i still can't listen to this song without getting goosebumps. Conchita isn't someone to be spoken about like trash, or referred to as 'it'. SHE is beautiful and magnificently talented. The negative comments here are the exact reason it's so important she won this and gained so much recognition, and also felt accepted by an entire continent. Narrow minded, ignorant people are the reason she needed this and deserved it more than ever. I am behind Conchita 100%.
