Love the slow motion of people walking as they're talking. Without it the video wouldn't make sense.

I think this is a great concept. It gives academic access to all the bright minds that may not have much funding. We live in a backwards society where we fund MK Ultra to put bright minds through the ringer in hopes that they'll break, but not enough to protect them. Some of them live in the street, blacklisted because they saw a setup coming and moved. So now our bright shining star lives in her car until the MK Ultra does it magic.

Summary:
- don't put science behind a paywall, free data for all, any time any place.
- if someone else proves what a study found with a repeat experiment, it should be made public so other people don't have to waste their time and money proving it themselves.
- people should see what critiques and recommendations were made for study in order for it to be published, to ensure good quality articles and make sure unfair reviews are challenged.

There is no open science, only science. Patents, elsevier and friends, grants, and faculty policies are business, not science. Cheers.

I have a STEM background, and several publications. With this perspective, I can understand the "message" that this video-clip tries to deliver. However, I have a hunch that someone without an academic background cannot understand the technical terms and euphemisms and passive-voice used in this delivery - at least not clearly - and because of this, the message shall not sway the general public and non-academically-minded policy-makers.

In short, those able to understand this message were already aware of the gravity and urgency,
and those who need to be on-boarded shall not be able to understand the message. - a pity.
