MAJOR BATHROOM DECLUTTER 2018 | Beauty Spring Cleaning!

The cabinets under my sink were overdue for a massive decluttering! I had so many unused, half used, or empty hair and body products under there it was insane! Watch and see what I got rid of( which was A LOT) and what I kept!

I know I am not the best at filming these declutters. You'll likely notice that I since I tend to talk with my hands, I moved the products around quite a bit as I showed them. I did my best and will hopefully continue to improve every time I film a new one of these! :)

Hi Risa...something our family does is when us ladies and teen girls get together we all bring a box or bag of goodies weve tried but maybe not necessarily like or need and we just do a swap...we put it out on a table and everyone just pucks a few things to take...no biggie that theyve been used or tried cause its usually just a time or 2 that its even used and we dont mind ..not necessarily lipsticks unless u use a brush to try them but I'm sure u get what I'm saying about some items dont really matter...ive also done this with coworkers friends and my teenage daughters friends ...its just an idea to keep stuff from wasting..weve also done decor and antiques and anywhere from small items to large furniture!

When I redid my bathroom, I deliberately did not install a vanity, just a stand alone sink. Not having a place to stash products does help me.

Love this! So real. It's hard to get rid of the things we purchase. I always feel better if I can give it to someone. It feels awesome to have so much clear space! Looks great! I need to do this too. Great job!

Wow that cabinet looks just like mine except mine is a bit more drugstore. Makes me feel better knowing I'm not the only one who puts half empty shampoo and hairspray under the cabinet. Now I feel like I should grab a garbage bag and declutter myself. Great job! So satisfying to watch.

Risa, I am a HUGE lover of the St. Tropez Bronzing Foam also. I LOVE it but like you said, IT DRIES SO FREAKING FAST! You hardly have a chance to blend it and I found I had to fiddle with it so it wouldn't come out patchy! BUT what I found to make it work SO much better is to put a big blob of the foam in my plastic gloved hand and add either a light weight body oil (like Neutragena after bath body oil) OR a nice lotion that you like scented on not and just start applying (you don't have to mix it up before, it will mix as you apply). It will make it easier to smooth on and go farther without drying up as soon as it touches your skin like using JUST the mousse does. Your skin will feel better, you will still get tan, it won't go on dry and patchy and it won't interfere with the color. I use the very DARK one as well and I don't find it does anything bad and you still get the tan you like without that DRYING problem. Hope it works for you!

Great job! We've slowly been doing that here. It is easy to get overwhelmed with products with 3 daughters! I love those scrubby sponges, especially after a day at the beach when we need to get sand and sunscreen off. I need to go find some in a package like that. Around here it seems like I can only find one at a time.

Love going through products. ..hey to check the age or like product expirations...look on the back labels at the bottom you see a small picture of a tiny jar with a number that's the number of months a product will last after its been opened.

So sweet Risa I needed to watch this video learned a lot from you but me I’m getting older and I feel a hoarder just buying spending with no need or use and it ends under my sink same thing with sandals cuz I don’t wear heals anymore or clothes that I have hanging with the tags still I think I’ll never use all the products all the shoes all the tops but oh well I learned threw my money just like that now I spend wisely ain’t getting younger anymore so I truly enjoyed watching you how you express yourself in just keeping things that work for you and then repurchase ok Risa loved it take care blessings

Kudos to you for clearing out those cabinets!! I know in my own experience that it is not easy to do, and you were very smart about going through those things. (Throwing out La Prairie??!!? How tragic!) I should head over to my cabinet RIGHT NOW and do the same.!
