This is a bad bad look for the U. The fact they haven’t owned up to this bad behavior…tells you a lot about the culture of that University.

What an idiot. It’s absolutely assault.

I rolled in with the BYU band as their videographer that night. I couldn't believe how many came up to us with such crude remarks, and we weren't even with the football team. I wanted to believe it was just trash talk, but all night I saw and heard nothing but pure hatred for BYU. I try to give everyone the benefit of a doubt, but this was just unacceptable, classless behavior. Shame on U!

Funny that every other Big 12 team BYU played complimented the BYU fans. Utah needs to grow up.

No responsibility taken by the university for their childish AD throwing a temper tantrum on field provoking the crowd? He’s as responsible as anyone.

Me angry
Me throw filled water bottle
Me hit random person in face
Me get arrested

Sums up the culture at the University of Utah.

Where is the President of the U? Very poor leadership. Needs to fire the AD for his unprofessionalism.

Zero tolerance, press charges and lock him up...

Classless act from top to bottom, up north. Yet another reason less and less people care about the U.

Harlan? If you wanna make this right, bring the BYU Cheer coach to a live press conf tomorrow morning and present her a check for 40K. Then apologize for your rotten disgusting tyrade so the other 133 FBS schools won't completely hate the U of U.

It starts from the top! Seems like theyre always turning up the temp in the rivalry and the fans think it's okay. Now the U has gone quiet with no statement

This behavior from Utah and Utah fans has been going on since Urban Myer.

Utah made themselves look terrible after this game. From Harlan’s comments to fans throwing trash at players and cheerleaders. The U is definitely going to be doing some serious damage control!

Also you won’t hear back from the UofU because they are as salty as their AD 🤣🤣🤣

This is not new behavior. In 1988 my family was hit with beer cans and rocks. My grandfather had to get stitches on the back of his head.

Sad to see this rivalry that’s already gone on for too long and now dividing even further… we are all residents of this beautiful state. Our country is already in trouble with division, we need to try and come together for each other.
As for the assault; no matter what the kid’s background is, he should serve jail time. Class A carries up to 1 year!

How can you create a winning program with an AD that looks like a bank robber? That punk needs to go.

I’ve warned you guys about the hallmark bullying that the U of U represents to the world.

I can't believe Taylor Randall hasn't said anything. After preaching "rival right", I would expect him to crack down on disgusting behavior from the AD and fans. But maybe he wasn't actually serious about rivaling right...
There is a serious culture problem at the UofU and it starts at the top.
