I had a knee MRI taken and one ortho told me its stage 3 osteoarthritis of patella cartilage. Went to another who told me it's stage 1. How do you know who to trust?

I do have stiffness and feel inflammation in the knee joint. I do see a fissure of the cartilage that seems to almost go entirely through. Neither doctor explained any images to me.
