How to solve devcpp source file compiling error

First time when you are going to install devcpp and running your first program may be following error is coming " Source file is not compiled". Actually this is not an error it is a warning if you delete some file from you devcpp drive then it will correct . watch this video carefully.

My old one has no this issue, but the new one has it. Do you know the reason behind this by any chance? I feel like I broke the software by following this procedure. It worked! But I just wonder if this will lead me into other problems down the road. Thanks!

A month ago the same issue was happening in my Dev C++ and I solve it by deleting collect2 and now it is again happening and I don't know how to solve it now because I already deleted the collect2 so, now what. Why it is again happening. Please help me if you know how to solve it .

It is simple take note of the extension of your project, it has to be .cpp not .h or any other file extension. Create a new project with .cpp file extension and paste your code there

Man I know it works for others but even tho I deleted it, it still doesn't work. Ig I'm just gonna give up. Thanks anyways it was very helpful
