StealthStop Miter Gauge

Woodpeckers new StealthStop Miter Gauge takes your crosscutting and mitering accuracy to another level without breaking the bank. It starts with the leaf-spring miter bar that ensures a perfect fit regardless of how sloppy your miter slot is. Next you’ll find laser-accurate positive stops at 0°, 15°, 22-1/2°, 30°, 36°, 45° and 60° in both directions. The large, easy-to-read laser-engraved protractor simplifies setting those “in-between” angles, too.

The StealthStop Miter Gauge is available with or without the extendable fence and stop. The fence gives you 20-1/2" of continuous support, which extends to 29". The StealthStop adjusts anywhere along the fence for repetitive cutting. The stop can be dialed in to perfect position with its built-in micro-adjuster and folds completely out of the way when not needed.

I figured this miter gauge would be completely out of my price range, being that it's made by Woodpeckers. But seeing the price and that it's made in the USA, along with the reputation you have for high quality, I'M TOTALLY IN!! And it won't blow my budget, I can't wait!

I bet the sale price of $100 got lots of pre-orders. I hope Woodpeckers learns from this. They could easily develop a larger, loyal customer base through volume sales and make a profit via volume that fewer huge, marked up prices. I have some Woodpeckers stuff and I did pre order this one too, so I am a big fan but would likely buy more of the prices were lower even when they remain more expensive than lesser tools.

I’ve always loved woodpeckers products from the quality to the accuracy. But I never thought them and the word economical will be in the same page. Although a part of me does agree that most on their products are worth the money. This miter gauge is a great deal tbh. I hope the quality has not been overlooked

Looks like an awesome new tool. What's the compatibility with the Exact-90? Are the fences interchangeable? Seems to me that the ideal solution would be this head with the E-90's fence and miter bar... And since we're dreaming, a METRIC E-90 fence would be awesome... (🙏🙏🙏)

Nice add to the line up! Looks like the miter bar is shorter than the one on the Exact 90 and Auto Scale sled, maybe around 16” or so? Will you be selling these new bars separately as well?

I already have some 36 x 0.75 x 3 inch Multi T-Track from Rockler and Powertec, would they be compatible with this miter gauge??

Just got mine assembled and set up. I haven't made a cut yet, but I'm less than impressed. The extension piece doesn't line up flush with the main fence. It sticks out proud of the main fence by about 1/64, so any piece I cut that's more than 18 inches will be slightly off unless I extend the extension out of the way. Shouldn't have to do that. Overall, the fence and flip stop are rather flimsy. The gauge wasn't square out of the box, but was easy enough to adjust. The gauge and bar themselves are very solid and fit my miter slot like a glove. If I had it to do over, I would buy just the miter gauge and put a different fence on it.

Is the fence that comes with the miter gauge different from the fence that’s sold standalone (#SSMGF29)? I can’t tell if the standalone fence comes with the extension feature or not.

Is the fence able to switched to extend to the right side of the gauge? I would purchase this to also use in my bandsaw miter slot as it looks like there are plenty of contact points with the miter bar where even if the bar extends past the end of bandsaw table, there are enough contact points to keep the bar snug. Finally, what is length of miter bar? Shorter is better for me.
