The pandemic has crippled the economy and businesses are struggling. One attorney tells us he's been getting more inquiries about bankruptcy. But we spoke to one small business owner who has found renewed hope.

Almost every small business is struggling and needs help, but you do a special story just for them? I guess the other local businesses aren't worthy enough.

It’s amazing with everything going on government still expect businesses to pay rent and bills. Even with our residents a lot of people can’t work or have income coming in but bills still gotta get paid. They should just stop bill payments till we are able to go back to work. Bad enough we still have to buy Just cut us some slack buy the time we actually get back to work a lot of the good restaurants or other places we loved will no longer be there
Just something to think about

Lesson learned for businesses. Now that we are learning something about our economy and how it effects us. Let's try to change or better use our brain to "work things out" This is where the professionals can help those that need or apply for services that those can benefit from these economic crisis. It's all about the "Wants and Needs" for the people. If there was bomb or radiation or even break in can switch or adjust ourselves to that day we all remembered....we well maybe many of us transitioned from plantation economy to tourist economy as well....learn from the past and make those adjustments...and I'm sure we will all make it at the end. We should be taking this as an opportunity to be ahead of the crisis when the do come. It's a cycle. thank you to reading my babble....*smile*

Perhaps these bureaucratic surrogates should learn more from the community on how to be sustainable in the economy and the future welfare of the people’s finances instead of concentrating more on their pet projects!!

If the community wants to help Kaimuki bakery and the other struggling businesses, than stand up to the thugs stopping them from working.

Wake up.
Liberate Hawaii.
Stop controlling us and let us take care of ourselves. Get back to work.
