What was funny about Leigh's impersonations is that they were nothing like the singers they impersonated. Leigh knew that & so did everyone. It's why it was so funny. Because of this there was nothing to be offended by. They didn't look or sound like the stars but he played on their song lyrics & created a unique personality for them.

the reason why Craig Davids popularity went down was nothing to do with Bo' selecta, Its because he changed his music style and concentrated on tailoring himself towards an American audience instead of sticking with what his fanbase wanted to hear from him. Theres nothing wrong with trying new things, but he went from all the uk garage stuff to Us style R&B basically overnite. This is coming from a Craig David fan of 18+ years.
