How we clean, condition and protect automotive leather.

We love leather interiors, which is why over a decade ago we undertook our very first large R&D project to look at creating our water-based, pH-neutral system of products that actually cared long-term for the modern types of top-coated leather, used in the vast majority of vehicles still to this day.

From this, the Leather Love cleaner/conditioner and Leather Guard protectant have become two of our more popular products in the range, but never to rest on our own laurels, over the last three years we have been working on numerous updates for the leather care with our chemists rigorously testing a variety of the latest specialist water-based ingredients to bring some great updates to these much-loved products. The biggest advances have been to Leather Love's safe pH-neutral cleaning and conditioning to make it work better and easier than ever as well as having a richer, lush leather aroma, something that will be of great appeal to those who love their leather as much as we do! Leather Guard has better protection all around and is still super easy to use with that beautiful leather matte finish.

Modern top-coated leathers are porous in their nature and require more specialist products for their frequent and safe cleaning, which is what our chemists focused on to give you something that's quite perfect for genuine long-term leather care.

A quick overview of the two:
Leather Love - a gentle but effective pH-neutral cleaner and conditioner:
• Leaves a stunning "new" clean matte finish, precisely as leather should be.
• Will not damage or affect the leather stitching.
• Not a slippery or greasy finish that you'd get from oil or silicone-based products.
• Leaves no white residue in stitching or perforation holes.
• No silicones, natural oils, solvents or waxes that can damage or prevent top-coated leather from being able to breathe and rehydrate. Something that we see as being crucial to long-term leather care.

Leather Guard - to help protect your leather from wear and mild staining.
• Leaves a sacrificial layer to help prevent damage on higher wear areas like seat bolsters.
• Helps protect the surface from staining that things like sweat, spilled drinks and grime can leave in the surface. Also makes it easier to remove fresh wet jeans stains with the Leather Love.
• Leaves the same perfect matte finish as Leather Love.

This worked an absolute treat after I accidentally smeared blue house paint on my cream leather interior and didn't notice for two days. Looks and feels like new!

When vacuuming leather with a soft brush attachment don't forget to pull apart where the leather is stitched together as these creases trap and hold dirt and grit. If you don't remove it with the vacuum when you clean the leather the grit will picked up by the soft bear pad and scratch the leather leaving permanent damage.

Hi guys, would I need a different square bear for leather guard after using it for leather love? Or can I simple rinse it with water then use it for leather guard? Thank you.
