Why Spanish Helluva Boss fans HATE the new Official Dub

Recently there’s been a bit of drama to do with the new spanish dub of helluva boss. I’ll break it down.

So yesterday the official spanish dub of helluva boss episode 1 murder family came out. The reception was overall pretty mixed, with alot of spanish fans complaining about the voices. Alot of them mentioned fan dubs from a channel called fastydubs, and saying his were better than the official ones. I’ll play a clip to show a comparison.

I’m not spanish but i personally prefer the official one over the fan one. Atleast to me the voices fit the characters better, but i’m interested to hear what spanish fans have to say about it.

Dude this fandom is NEVER without drama. I’m just glad our Spanish speakers have a way to watch my favorite show without confusion, this shit is making me tired 😔

i'm hispanic(and bilingual), i just think it's nice that there's now an official dub, more audiences can enjoy the show, and i honestly think both dubs are good, this fandom is just filled with newer drama every week LOL

As a Spanish fan, I think many fans have gotten used to listening to Fastydubs and it’s weird hearing other voices do it, I do think that some voices of the fan dub are really good, like Blitz that his voice is pretty similar to the original one and Stolas
Tho the official one also has its touch

Fasty & his team have become an essential part in the Hispanic HB community, also he is a LOT like blitz and most of us became attached to the dub tbh

Not a Spanish speaker but just by watching the clips I think it’s more about the execution of the lines. Like the voice didn’t get angry when Blitz’s face did in the official dub while the fan dub seemed to focus more on vocals matching animated expressions more

Early‼️ But anyways I'll give an opinion about this, as a Spanish Fan of the series [I am mexican] both are genuinely good, honestly there isn't a problem with the official one at all the voices are perfectly fine both the official and fan dubs are good, don’t understand why people have a problem with the official dub. People should also understand that it didn't come out until now since other projects obviously got in the way and they probably took so long to find voice actors to have voices similar to the English ones, but overall both dubs are really great

I don't have a problem with the official dub, i just was used to the fasty dubs one. it grew on me a lot. specially Blitzø's voice bc the the fasty dubs voice actor has like a speech impediment that makes blitzø sound adorable at the same time he's saying his usual nasty dialogues. i like it when dubs don't just sound like the original but also add on it, and i feel like that fan dub team really did add on a lot of stuff i loved.

Im not Hispanic and im not fluent speaking wise but I do understand Spanish quite well so I watch a fair amount of Spanish media I prefer the official version there's more distinction between the voices of the characters. What I will say tho is that if the guy who voices the fan dub came in and voiced ONE of the characters that would be best of both worlds cause his acting us solid I just think he doesn't have the ability to make his voice sound like two separate people enough id choose him to voice moxie because I don't quite like the official dubs moxie impression I don't really think it fits him personality wise when the fan dub does

Okay.. I don't watch the fandubs because I like the original voices.. but the fandub feels a tiny but more natural... specially with the insults. It's cool to know we have an official dub either way..

As an Hispanic, I totally agree that the fan dub was x10 times better than the actual dub. It just sounds more natural and more like blitz than the actual dub. It has more emotion and more latino character than the actual dub it’s just way better. The way they implemented the swear words sound more appealing in the fan dub but the official dub has more accurate swear words.

i got SO use to the fasty dubs one that its weird to get used to the oficial one but, still, after watching the episode with the new dub a couple times, i ended up LOVING the new dub.

Ill miss the fasty one but i still love the new one

OH also blitzø's fan dubbed voice improved a LOT over the years. Just compare murder family with OOPS, for example

as someone who saw fasty dubs for years, i can say i prefer the fan dub more than the official

Both are pretty good. I think the first one played was better voice-wise and on the delivery, but I like translation in the second better
