As good as the Roman and Jey stuff was, the highlight of this run will always be Sammy. He joins judgment day to recooperate his lost legitimacy, leaving behind the only family he’s had (though troubled, looking at you KO) through it finds two brothers, but seeing how toxic the bloodline betrays it and makes it his mission to save the two brothers from Roman. When the usos turn on Sammy and go back to Roman, he falls back on the one man he knew who would, through everything be there for him in Kevin. That moment where Sammy pins Jey, him and KO fall back against the ropes and just look stare at each other, the flood of noise and raw emotion, it’s just magic. As many times as people say “the bloodline is getting stale” I point to the insane number of stories that have happened because of the bloodline, which the wrestling community would be lesser without
