Our VW camper won't start

For months we have been struggling to start our kombi easily. Finally, we have a new starter motor in our possession and so it is time to change it out.

It's really important to disconnect the battery ground connection before you begin removing the starter wires. The hot wire on the starter comes directly from the battery, so if you accidently short that wire to any metal part, you get a gigantic spark and molten metal may hit your face. It can also destroy the wire.

We just did the same thing with out T3 with SVX EG33. Replaced starter. Looks alot like that one actually. We are in Yucatan Mexico and also Playa Del Carmen QROO if you are ever in these areas
