The worst and scariest thing about When Day Break is that the Sun literally does not allow you to die. One of the survivors took their own life by shooting themselves. Moments later they woke up with no complications and were then snatched by the flesh monsters, stripped of any clothing and them liquified

Scp-001 was also able to concert anomalous entities as well, and there was an animation about SCP-001 where someone tried to commune with the soul of somebody who was affected and the person responded by enticing them out into the sun, meaning SCP-001 doesn't just melt the body and mind, it also corrupts the human soul itself...

...So that shits scary, huh?
