There are many contradictions in the resurrection accounts. The one thing they all agree on is the actual lack of a resurrection.

Imagine in the present day. A doctor goes to the morgue to inspect a body thats been there for a couple of days but the body has disappeared. Would he start running about the hospital claiming he'd witnessed a resurrection. That'd be pretty dumb right.

As a non religious person more interested in Christianity from a historical and cultural point of view, I'm curious about these hundreds of people who saw Jesus after resurrection. I know Paul mentions it in Corinthians but what historical sources outside the Christian scriptures can we find that supports this?

11 of the apostles ran or denied Jesus Christ during crucifixion and trial . These same men then later went on to willingly go through torture and death spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, they didn't back down and stuck with saying the gospel is true even in their very last breath . What could have changed ? This embarrassing act was written down in scripture, what could have changed 11 men running away or denying him to being all in to the point of willingly going through torture and death and never backing down and sticking with saying the gospel is true? The only explanation is these 11 men witnessed the resurrection of Jesus Christ

They had three Roman soldiers guarding his tomb. Those men went to their deaths, never recanting their story. The tomb was never opened for anyone, whilst they were guarding it.
They could've easily lied and said they were bribed by Jesus's supporters, to let them take his body.
This would've saved their lives and helped the many haters ( Roman govenor and jewish religious leaders) spread false rumours and accusations.
Those tough Roman soldiers proved themselves.

Christian or not, it annoys me when people say Jesus wasn't a real person. Respected atheist historians even acknowledge he was a real person. The question is whether you believe he is our lord and saviour. I certainly do. 🙏
