Just buy the phyllo described as "country style" and you won't have to drain the spinach.

I have the short cut. 5 minute prep.I dare you.
4 sheets at bottom 4 sheets top.
A little salted butter in some oil. with your hand or paper towel (be lazy.) spread on phillo sloppily. Use arugula salad mix (cheaper and tastes much better than just spinach. a whole batch of fresh dill with stem chopped. 1 raw egg, a tablespoon or 2 of flour, very crumbled feta. smoosh everything with hands. Layer it, cook for around one hour. (your way is an entrée. My way is a meal have foodies order it from me. I learned from a chef . If you make it really high stab the top in a few places.
