Carta de Pedra | Guanga | Aldair Blanc | Spanish Guitar
Показать описание
This is Marco Pereira's arrangement of Carta de Pedra. I'm using a Kenny Hill Signature Spruce top guitar. My 1st and 2nd strings are D'Addario EJ29s, and my 3rd string is Seaguar's.032 guage. My 4th string is a Hannabach Silver Special 815 LT, while my 5th and 6th strings are Hannabach Silver Special 815 SLT. I'm still 2 years into learning the basics, and finding the right strings for Cedar and Spruce and adjusting my nails while trying to pick up the proper techniques into muscle memory is an on-going journey. I'm enjoying the journey. Also, watching the masters inspires me to strive. Thank you for supporting all classical guitarists!
I've crossed over from jazz to classical guitar two years ago and have never looked back. Playing the classical standards and Spanish influenced pieces pulls at my heartstrings every time I pick up my spruce or cedar.

After watching so many beautiful YouTube videos of the masters playing these pieces, I recently decided to try my hand at recording using my iPhone. This opened my eyes as I can visually critique my myself as well. As such, not just learning the proper classical techniques but videography is a work in progress. Also, it’s a bit scary to publish myself. Two years playing equates to Grade 2 level but if I can take this leap, I hope it opens others on the same level to take the dive as well. One day when I’m retired, I hope to take proper lessons.
Feel free to reach out to me if you’d like to know what recording hardware and software I use or what arrangements I pull from.
Mahalo for your support!
