Aside from being told to deal with someone skipping school. This sounds like my highschool life to some degree. Because I was popular with the girls, though in my junior year I was dating my crush, kinda. It was a tricky situation, her parents wouldn't let her dump her abusive boyfriend. And I was literally the guy she had an affair with since we couldn't make our relationship official. Unfortunately she was forced to leave town with her family to who knows where. And she wasn't able to contact me. Then I saw her again several years later and I was happy to see that I actually managed to convince her to not commit suicide. But was fairly heartbroken when I saw her with another man and their son. She looked happier and healthier than when we met in highschool. She was anorexic when we met, but as an adult she filled out and was looking like quite the bombshell hottie I knew she could be. But for the sake of mine and her mental health I decided to stay out of her life, even told one of her good friends that was also kinda my rival as much. Haven't seen them again since. Anyway this does sound like my highschool life a little bit. Though knowing romance MC stories by now, he's going to be much happier than I was back then. Even if my highschool junior year was the happiest time of my life

Lost youth kind of troupes hit hard when you realise you lost yours and no matter what you do you can't bring them back, just writing about it is painfull, young peeps out there please don't waste your youth and try different things and just enjoy your life and youth to the fullest before time runs out.

I read this for a bit, but thought it was kinda cringe. It is not that bad story wise, but it's one of those manga that try to make conversations seem like "normal high school talk." For example, in chapter 1, there is a line that reads, "Chitose Saku here, Iwanami-sensei's personal maid. I also happen to be a f---ing manwhore behind the scenes." If it sounds bad here, read it, and it will sound even worse, I guarantee it. It's lines like this where you can tell the author is trying overly-hard to make it sound "high school-like." If you read the manga, you will get exactly what I mean. However I will say, if you can move past the cringe, then yah, it's a good read.
