Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program Edinburgh Summer School

Launched in 2017, our Summer School is a 4-week academy delivered as part of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Edinburgh. We take students through an immersive learning experience to build the practical skills and mindset necessary for transformative leadership.

Our syllabus is a unique blend of theoretical, mindful, reflective and active practice, built around a series of live local projects in Edinburgh.

Summer School students come from a diverse background including current undergraduate MasterCard Foundation Scholars from the University of Edinburgh and our partner institutions throughout Africa.
