I never had braces, but our friends did. We hyped them up when they got them, amd hyped when they got them off. Thank goodness we were a positive, supportive group of kids.

I also cried after getting mine off. I felt like I went through years of pain and paying so much money for nothing. But I'm super happy with my smile present day and the final results even made it so much easier to care for my teeth the way they need to be.

Back in the early 90s it was cool to have braces. Everyone wanted them. Lol I had them and when they came off I felt like I had huge horse teeth

I was in a group home for years and they refused to take me to get my braces off three years after they were due to be removed. The only reason I cried after getting them off was because I was grateful to my new adopted parents for setting up the appointment finally. I used to be able to pull the wires out of my mouth halfway. After they were taken off I cried in my moms arms for three minutes at least. We’re in the process of suing the group home for neglecting my medical needs.

I was insanely happy when I got mine off & felt like a million bucks!! I also had pretty bad teeth before braces so that could've been a factor in the amount of happiness I felt seeing a smile that I was finally proud to show off😁😁

I got mine off last Thursday. I don’t miss them one bit, I had them on for 5 years!!
