I met Cedric the Entertainer at a muffler repair shop in LA and I did not know who he was. Even though I was and am a FAN of his and of comedy. We talked about a glittery Porsche in the shop (not his, he had much better taste in Cars) Cars, Car culture, and such, and then as I was getting ready to go he introduced himself. Righteous Dude! Great Interaction! So Humble! So Kind. Oh, and by the way Mr. The Entertainer, I have done this many times over the years, not recognizing someone who is a Hollywood Star many I did recognize usually in the course of some job I had and I have never had a bad encounter. By the way, Comedy Central, I vote for Roy Wood Jr.

Cedric has given to the entertainment world so vividly for so long. Every time I see him interviewed I have that same thought; I hope the person I marry stays as stylish as him for as long as he has. It's because he shows so much of himself with his style. It's as colorful, as full bodied and as animated as him. So many tears seeing him get his flowers. You can feel how much Roy meant what he said. Favorite segment yet.

I have not commented on any of the TDS guest hosts, but until now, I really saw Hassan Minhaj as the host, BUT Roy Wood Jr. really is killing it! His tone and comedic timing is impeccable. Him moving to the desk may open a slot for a new correspondent 😊
