Why School of Dragons is UNPLAYABLE

Please keep in mind that I've endured this game for 7+ years, so if you think I speak harshly, I come from a place of exhaustion when it comes to this game. I have been let down time and time again by bugs, glitches, eternal loading screens and I've been disappointed with the developers numerous times as well. The game is in an unacceptable condition and I am not going to apologize for saying that.

I rarely play SoD after they removed the dragon feature that can shoot fire to other people.

I’ve played SoD since it came out and it’s graphics have gotten better throughout the years but it tends to get boring so quickly with the amount of quests

The game is dying. As much as I don't want to admit it- It's already dead. I will continue playing until it completely disappears because I've invested a lot of time and money into it. You really do not speak harsh, I have played this since I was like 5 and listening to how right you were about the game getting worse over the years made me tear up, because it has brought me so many smiles when I look on my childhood self and play it.

With the amount of glitches in this game I'm certain this game's code is so jumbled up that "spaghetti code" doesn't even cut it.

I stick with School of Dragons because in this post-Hidden World world we live in, it's the only piece of HTTYD media around that still somewhat remembers what the heart of this series was supposed to be about. And that is so depressing that I think I'm gonna cry.

As a veteran player myself, I admit I also feel at times when the game lacks interest anymore; and while it's no cakewalk to make the game better, it's also hard for consumers to understand the technology to run or create a game like this doesn't happen with the wave of a magic wand.
Personally, I only play the game for my own love of dragons in general, and not just for new content on a daily basis (that's more of a bonus really).
I will always keep School of Dragons in a special place in my heart, and I will still play until its shutdown day; be thankful for what we have/had with this game, enjoy every minute of it possible (good times or bad), and while we don't know the fate of the game directly all I can say is to hope for the better and don't give up.

And to the devs and admins of School of Dragons, please remember this quote: "Try to always stay focused on the objectives that are possible and the positive".

It’s sad that the game has stayed the same for 7 back in the day it was such an advanced game, but now it’s really lacking. They could make it such a good game :/

I do very much agree. It is so sad, that a game with that much potential has walked down this path. I agree, they would need to rebuild literally from the beginning. This is a very unreliable source and its so sad, because for all the fans, which had hope for this game. Including me.

What people don't get is that the company would need to overhaul the ENTIRE game from scratch for them to implement what people are asking for. They would need to switch to a new engine to begin with. Which means they would need a lot more money for it. The whole process should have started years ago before the game reached the level it is at now. I am just surprised that the game hasn't been picked up by bigger more experienced companies. I mean it's a CASH COW because of how popular the franchise is. An experienced quality dev team could turn this into the next Star Stable.

I just hate how Everything in school of dragons require Gems, and it’s also so hard to get Gems without having to purchase them. If the prices of the dragon and everything is lowered then I might play it more. Also the game should list which maps and islands are for members only

im sad to see it go, ive been playing since 2017 but its time as a whole is on a constant clock. its time is slowly ticking and at this point, theres nothing much that we can do. School of Dragons will always have a special place in our hearts and it wont be forgotten
