How do you figure the correct flow for each loop?

These manifolds don’t have actuators so I guess there are no thermostats in such a system and the flow to all rooms is constant (depending on the flow rate you set). Is this now the modern recommended way to run underfloor heating? My old Wirsbo system (predecessor to uponor) has thermostats and actuators to switch the flow on and off according to the room temp.

More questions than answers for me! haha. I have a 2-loop system I'm putting in, both for a kitchen. So to me, I think as long as I keep my loops the same length, I can get away with a plain "open" manifold since the system is thermostat controlled with a Taco actuator. It's meant as supplimental heat, just to warm the floors and not really to heat the space.
