ABCs of Rubrics for Assessment

The focus of this session is on rubrics for students learning. 21st-century educators are expected to assess learner outcomes objectively and holistically. A rubric is a powerful tool for assessment. So whats is a rubric? It is a tool comprising a set of criteria (with possible levels of performance quality on the criteria) developed to assess any kind of student work, from written to oral to visual. The ultimate goal of this session is to equip you with a rudimentary knowledge of rubrics for learning assessment.
