In Dragon Ball Z, Slug is a character which is both memorable and then not that memorable. #Xenoverse2 revived his presence for a modern age of #DragonBall fans but we feel that we can do more to mage his legacy even grander. In the storyline this would be perfect time to introduce lord slug cannon, while Goku and Vegta train. Have the Z fighters have the spotlight. Piccolo having defeat lord slug and his last Dying wish to fuse with piccolo. Piccolo power boost.

I very much enjoy the idea that there is some intentional wickedness in a Super Namekian. It gives credence to Piccolo using his gigantic quasi super Namekian form less and less. And the idea that Slug is near Frieza level, enough so that Quasi Super Saiyan was needed to fight him

I really like this idea, it feels like a logical throughline from the existence of king piccolo, a combination of the fear of potentially being erased again and the aforementioned taste of power through their fusion with Saonel and Pirina

I was skeptical at the start but you really sold me Masako. Especially when you gave Piccolo a chance to be relevant again. 😭

I can dig that. Having Slug being “born” out of a group of fused, would be different in a good way.

Although, something just dawned on me: if it’s ‘power’ that he craves, what if it turned him into a fiend - a fiend that that has this insatiable appetite for ‘power’ (like an addict)?

Why did namekians develop teeth during their evolution if they survive solely on water?

Even with this set up, you would really need to include Gohan. In the ToP, Piccolo and Gohan realized they needed each other. Not just as trainer/student, father/son, but as partners taking enemies on together.


In other words, Gohan is basically an honorary Namekian and Piccolo likely wouldn't leave without him on a call for help like this.

I’d love to see Gohan (honorary namekian) and dende helping out by trying to evacuate namekians and fighting off some slug zealots while piccolo and the universe 6 namekian warriors fight off slug and his strongest supporters. Keep it focused on the namekians but brings back dende and gohan since both played big roles in the namek arc and in piccolos becoming a hero.

And it could even be that all of the slug zealots fuse into slug eventually forcing Piccolo to fuse with the two from universe 6 and the power boost both slug and piccolo get could be enough that gohan would just a get in the way, with gohan on the sides the story would focus on the namekians still but could be yet another strong push for gohan to get back to fighting and finding that balance in his life.

First it was Friezas invasion of earth, then the tournament of power, then not being able to help his former master in this fight. Gohan has near limitless potential but piccolo who has a ceiling has him so outmatched as the result of the fusion that he might as well be krillen.
