I think the fish ponds are great, not because the roe is so profitable, but because you can raise the fish you need for recipes easily. Need some sea cucumbers for a Lucky Lunch or eels for Spicy Eel? Just fish a few out of your pond and they will regrow.

I built fish ponds not because they are profitable but because of their quests.

Don't you love those? :D They are new and so silly.

I have 2 fish ponds: 1 for eel, (Spicy Eel) and 1 for sea cucumber (Lucky Lunch). I've never had this many Lucky Lunches. I could eat one almost every day, if my supply of Blue Jazz doesn't run out.

Fish pond 'mistake' is not true. When you choose the artisan career the fish ponds are extremely profitable. You just have to pick the right fish... blob fish, super cucumber, sturgeon, spook fish, puffer fish...

Fish ponds - use only Sturgeons - they produce actual caviar worth a shed ton more than standard fish roe

for fish ponds, I like to go for lava eel because their aged roe is worth 750g (and the water turns red lol) and the normal eel to make spicy eel for skull caverns! but otherwise I agree with you!

Caviar sells for 500g, 700g with Artisan. It is very much profitable. You get an average of 1.25 roe per day from a maxed out sturgeon farm, and after turning it into caviar that translates to 875 gold per day, which is better than 5 simultaneously working diamond crystallariums (750g/day)

Dude you are wrong on fish ponds. Remake this vid or just take it down. Hope you did more research on subsequent vids.
