Great job Eileen, your presentation went from strength to strength as you gained momentum and confidence. As a Rails dev of 10 years myself, it's uplifting to see presentations such as yours counter the narrative that Rails is on the decline. Thank you for your contribution to our vibrant community.

Good presentation. Multiple DBs is an amazing new feature for Rails. How ever there is no user authentication and authorisation in rails core? There is no token authentication in API mode? Yet there is a place for "Action Text" in rails core 6.0 (sic!)! C'mon!

Less about being scalable, more about having proper multi-database support. Phoenix/Elixir is scalable in the way that people think about what "scalable" means.

Phoenix has done all this for years. Yawn. Rails is dead - all the talent left long ago.
