Be thankful that wearing masks in public is not considered out of the ordinary🤷‍♀️

Solution: Accept who you are, and make the best of it.
We were not created perfectly, we are not perfect, and we will never be perfect.

Yikes. Great explanation, Dr. Ellis. Would really appreciate a video on the best way to treat a downturned smile (aka RBF) with Botox.

Wait—dimpling on the chin is considered undesirable??? I definitely didn’t get that memo. It’s been one of my favourite facial features since I was a kid haha… both on myself and others, I think it’s so cute!

I am so glad that I saw this, because I have the chin dimpling and was debating about what to do, but now I am just going to let it go😂

Whoever injected that lady definitely was NOT a dermatologist. This is why you don’t get injected at a medical spa! Those people don’t have enough education and many times just nothing at all! FYI: The minute you see the “injector” facing the injection needle towards the middle of your face (in this particular area of the face) you should worry, bc it should face outward ⬅️😊➡️ not inward ➡️😮⬅️

Stop getting botox and love yourself how God made you. You are beautiful ❤

I don’t understand why anyone recommends injecting that (or fillers) into your face.

Hello Doc❤😊 Love watching your videos. Can u please make one on "Glysomed hand cream - the one with Chamomile and Glycerine" plz. 🙏
I not only use it on my hands but often also on my face, neck, under my eyes 😂 after serum and moisturizer whenever I want to avoid Vaseline slugging if friends are over for a night out and also while sleeping in long flights to avoid the greasy and sticky Vaseline to get on the sheets. 😅

The last time I had massetor botox done, it messed up my smile (it shortened it in that my cheeks would not pull back). It looked like I gained weight and it definitely lasted the full 3 months. Now I’m scared to get it done again.

Don't ever go back to that person ever again. For the face - only go to the best dear girl. ❤

I’ve heard another doctor mention that in America it’s easy to become an injector. Botox company will sell it to almost anyone (almos, not literally anyone but it’s much easier to become an injector in the US and the UK than in other places). The company gives some basic training course (which is a couple of weeks or even a few days of theory, how this medicine works and where it should be injected), but a person won’t become a good injector after those couple of weeks of essentially lectures, unless they already have a necessary foundation in general medicine, facial anatomy, knowledge of skin, injecting experience and training.

There are also no strict standard doses. The injector decides how much to put and where bc everyone’s face is different, and a lot of those complications are from too high of a dose. So a lot depends on the qualifications of the injector. Ofc, such accidents can happen even with skilled injectors but the odds of them happening are extremely low if the injector is properly trained and skilled.

Cosmetic dermatologists (not regular dermatologists that focus on skin diseases but the cosmetic ones that do those injections all the time) are probably the best choice for a Botox or even a filler injector. Please save your face, research carefully the training of your injector and don’t try to save money by going for discounts or cheap prices (that usually doesn’t end well).

Girl, start saving your money for when you *really* need/want Botox to correct signs of aging. Trust me, you’ll be glad you did. For now focus on age-appropriate skincare - and wear sunscreen!

You can fix this issue by not getting botox in the first place

Stop putting crap on your face. You are to young to be doing that much. Work on your self esteem.
