Happy Sunday upload! What is more annoying to buy than mic stands?

These products are definitely a game changer for the room. I’ve never seen his floor so open before. He’s had these for months and he still can’t get over how much he loves them haha.

Triad orbit stands are the absolute best stands made! Been using these for about 4 years. Worth every penny👍

I strongly disagree Andrew...Triad Orbit is VERY SEXY, hahahah. It really has changed my studio life. Piano recording has become a joy since I got their stands! No stands lying around the floor, video shooting has become so much easier with no stands in the way of the videographer. They worth every penny!

I just got the desk/wall mount boom package a few weeks ago and it's an absolute game changer in my bedroom studio setup! All because of your video too!

These clamps are so cool I've been looking for something like these for years now

Your studio run through are so funking cool, love the no wires on the floor and mic placement doesn’t move that was cool. I personally like having a clean work space when jamming specially when others are over. Don’t know how others can stand clutter. 10/10 with your studio. And your drums like I said before are beautiful. Kinda like an orange version of my drums haha 🤘

Thanks Andrew for talking about these stands. I’m in a very tight space for recording and video. These are products that will make my workflow faster and space saving is a bonus!

This is so satisfying! I love doing this kind of stuff in my home studio. Adding to my Christmas list😂

At 30 years old, I feel I have discovered the key to an easy life. EVERYTHING ON WHEELS!
Kitchen island, storage shelves, toolboxes, shop tools, outboard sidecars, instrument cases, amps, etc.

Triad Orbit equipment definitely helps with that. They actually teamed up with 9.Solutions to use their clamps..
The commercial film industry and the music industry need to talk more. There is so much grip gear already on the market that music studios should be using to mount mics and whatnot.

Thanks Andrew! I have been trying to figure out how to make an extendable Decca tree. This product is flexible enough to do the trick...at least for small ensembles. Good vid!!

Very nicely done and a great explanation of their aptly described "complicated and esoteric system"... fairly pricey too but you do a 100x better job than they do on their own website. I'm looking at some of the little ball heads for easier mic positioning in my VO booth. I like the quick release too so I can easily swap back and forth with my Sennheiser 416 for my Neumann TLM 103. THANK YOU! ~Robert

Thanks Andrew. You've opened my eyes! I can see for miles! hahahaha. A full life wasting money buying mic stands... Thanks for your big efforts showing your world, I am building now a nice home studio, and you are such a reference to me. All the best from Madrid, Spain. One question, how many square meters do you have in your main room? Thanks! Another one, which kind of shelves do you use? love them!

At 8:00 you show how it could be used as a Decca Tree setup but I’d be curious how much weight it can hold as an actual Decca Tree setup, where each of the three mic arms (not the main boom from the stand) are ideally about six feet long each from the T-split mid point. I didn’t want to pay $1500-$3000 on just the tree section for a “real” tree, so I built an adjustable one myself a while back using light stand components that hold/withstand the weight and length of each arm. But a nice solution/option if the Triad Orbit system can safely hold the weight of a properly triangulated tree!

@3:12 wouldn’t you be picking up the neighborhood?

Interesting & timely video for me. I'm in a very similar situation to you with amps, keyboards, mixing desk, acoustics all in one room that is probably smaller than yours. Floor space is very important! I was looking at the K&M 25995 Table/Floor stand for use with speaker cabs. Thinking I could slide the base under the cab to save space. I have also looked at the Triad Orbit stuff. Not sure how much guitar tracking you have done using the mic clamp on the speaker cabinet but interested to know if there are any issues with vibration transfer to the mic using that mounting method. That's been my main concern going the lip clamp route.
