I halved this recipe and cooked it in a loaf pan it was the best one I've ever made. I have tried several other marble cake recipes this is the only one that worked. I used 2 eggs and forgot to half the baking soda it still came out beautifully.

Also I first put half the vanilla batter in the loaf pan, then i mixed in the chocolate to the remaining batter in the bowl. (melted chocolate for 1 min in microwave) Then I poured the chocolate batter over the vanilla one and swirled it. This saved me from washing an extra bowl.
