You guys understand that when someone is shooting at you and you shoot back, that doesn't mean that you're picking a side, that's just survival. Flags be damned

Thought-provoking scene. You can't even see the sniper or see the aftermath. The contrast between the civilian journalists making sense of who is fighting who (and how we're locked into their perspectives) and how the soldiers just "do" according to their survival instincts, without care for who is who. Great story telling technique on the fog of war.

This was one of the most meaningful parts of the movie. The reason that most of the movie we don’t know which soldiers are on which side is that it doesn’t matter. It’s brother versus brother, neighbor versus neighbor, American versus American. There were a lot of flaws with this movie, but if you can look past them there is a lot of interesting and thought provoking ideas as well.

The movie switched between the production value of a high quality streaming show and a B-grade zombie movie. It was quite jarring. There were also some tonal issues when it switched between drama and satire which brought me out of the movie. Overall not a bad movie. The last 20 mins were so unsettling.

Its hilarious i watched it the first time around while juggling the amercian dream and paying the financial centers the 29% interest on my maxed out credit cards. Now that im not actively paying them, i need to watch this again with a more open mind. And think outside the DSA usa type mentality we were all taught in school
