For those that need clarification on the authors of the lick vs tune, see the description - which clearly states that the tune is Giant Steps by John Coltrane. I thought that this goes without saying just by mentioning “Giant Steps Lick Tutorial” at the beginning, but I realize some people may need further clarification.

Nahre, you are amazing at breaking down this complex-sounding jazz vocabulary. It's really helpful. Thank you!

Gosh, do more shorts like this! Really this is amazing, and I couldn't get enough of playing this lick for like 15 minutes and will now use this whenever I play for family and friends.
Thanks so much for sharing!
