Good job with the comparison. I am building a 24v back up system and have two Chins LiFePo4 100a batteries. Our power goes out all the time here in the country and I get tired complaining my generator won't start! Joe

One other small thing worth mentioning is that LiFePO4 batteries maintain their voltage level much more consistently throughout the discharge cycle. When combined with a pure sine wave inverter, this makes them a better option for a wide variety of applications where more sensitive electronics are in use. I took advantage of this, along with the weight reduction, to replace two AGM batteries on my boat.

Thank you for your take on LiFePO4 battery. outher points are no h2 gas . battery terminal don't corrode . and the charge discharge efficiently is 90% or better. the only maintain is the balance of cells which is done with a good BMS . batteries has changed time to look what is out their now .

I just moved my battery bank from Trojans 12v150A to Chins LiFePo4 300amp and I won't go back to Lead-Acid even if they cost $20 a piece. I Agree 100% Lithium is the way to go! 👍Haloha!!!

Since there are huge costs getting solar supplies to Hawaii from the mainland, may I ask, where do you get your solar supplies?

I think the lifepo4 batteries charge faster too. It was as if it took longer for the solar to overcome the internal resistance of the lead acid.
