I’m 61 yrs old, been divorced for over thirty five yrs. She remarried, I did not. I see her at the grandkids parties and Christmas gatherings. I've always said that I was so blessed to have been raised in a generation of great music like the 70s, going into the 80s. The cool thing was being black I never allowed others to tell me what I should listen to. I listened to the brothers i.e. Earth Wind and Fire, the Isleys, the whispers etc but also the eagles, Paul Davis and many others. We had Soul Train and American Bandstand. I'm glad you're discovering it too. Stay blessed.
