Man Catches Thieves Trying to Steal Truck Part on Camera

David Sommer being observant was what led him to catch three men red-handed who were trying to steal his truck’s catalytic converter. “I noticed the motion light went off and the security camera alerted me someone was out front.” Sommer told KCBS. Authorities say the converters have become big ticket items at junkyards, and offer tips on how others can keep their vehicles safe. Inside Edition Digital’s Stephanie Officer has the details.

Depending on the state, inspections may not be required so if it does happen to you, look into "test pipes" if your insurance won't assist. I had one go bad and couldn't afford the fix so I ran resonated test pipes. Sounded great, not loud or raspy, looks like catback exhaust and saved thousands! Sold it for book later on too.
