This is a little review on the GOAT steep assist roof ladder. I would recommend anyone who's working on roofs to have the GOAT in their equipment lineup because this thing is awesome. Subscribe for more.

Its so you can put an anchor at the peak. I dont think they meant for you to work off it

As a roofer, that is too high risk even that with tool. You get one fall from a height like that. It probably won't kill you, but chances are high you are disabled. Use a cherry picker or don't install Christmas lights an a 12/12.

A year later but do you remember what pitch that roof was? I know they say don’t exceed a 12/12 pitch but this looks almost steeper

The view from the street doesn't match the view from the roofer. It is not that steep I mean this was almost 100% vertical. Cool tool to have though

or just wear tennis shoes instead of boots. You can tear up the shingles with boots and you would be liable.

All roofs should have eyelits screwed into them for lanyards. Should be mandatory for new build. With that said, dude eff that Christmas lights garbage. Its degrading.
