I see that Alphys is secretly rebelling against XGaster herself, and trying to get others to help Chara and Frisk, so they can survive and go on.

Muffet played a bigger role during XTale it seems, but we can't forget who the unmentioned hero was. Without Alphys' intervention it could have ended worse.

There's so much going on in this video that showed how each character would be like in the future.
Frisk would become a catalyst for Chara's reason, Gaster would be more determined to experiment, and Chara would start to rebel against Gaster's plans. It's amazing to see how that worked during this timeline. Great work Jakei!

Every new timeline makes XChara and XFrisk that much more justified in doing what they did in the final timeline. It still doesn't excuse what Cross and XChara tried to do during the events of Underverse, but the whole thing was clearly XGaster's fault to begin with. Jakei, you really know how to make a compelling story!

Yknow, watching these Xtale videos, I could almost sympathize with XGaster and his desire to make a perfect world for the children to live in, but this video on particular dashed those thoughts. This video showed that XGaster is not only ruthless, but willing to actively manipulate the children to do as he seeks fit. XGaster burned whatever could redeem him in this video. This feels like the turning point.
