Chaco Golden Knee Tarantula (Grammostola pulchripes) #shorts

Grammostola pulchripes, known in the hobby as the Chaco Golden, is a New World Terrestrial tarantula that is endemic to the sub-tropical nation of Paraguay. This T can grow to an adult size of around 6-7” with males living about 6 or 7 years while females can live 20-25 years. Being a new world tarantula, this T does not have medically significant venom but does possess urticating hairs. This species has a reputation of being very docile and rarely kicking hairs but bare in mind temperament can differ between specimens and even between molts of the same specimen. This tarantula is an opportunistic burrower, but the older they get, the less they seem to burrower and the more they tend to just move substrate around their enclosure. I’ve wanted one of these for a while, picked one up this passed weekend at a reptile expo (UK) and I’m in love!! Handled him/her tonight. I have a Grammostola Pulchripes and i think it had molted 4 times. I sae her molt but didnt see when. But it was midnight when it happened. *I only feed her our local gagambas we have in the philippines (under 1 inch/Tm Size) because there was no local mealworm seller near us.* But thanks! :)

Hey Richard! What lighting do you use for your videos? Got a name or link? I'm looking for similar lighting to improve the quality of my content. I've been using ring lights for the last year, but they're just way too bright and blow out the entire background, even at the dimmest settings. Love the videos though man, keep it up and congrats on 100K!
