It's funny that there are would-be Decepticons among the Iacon 5000 race participants' list and they had joined the Autobots after Energon flow returned to Cybertron and that Optimus Prime saved them from the destructive rampage of Megatron and the High Guard who targeted the entire city for being associated with Sentinel Prime.

Megatron had unintentionally alienated powerful Decepticon groups such as Stunticons (Motormaster, Dragstrip, Breakdown and Deadend), the Vehicon Generals (Tankor and Jetstorm) and the Combaticons (Swindle) into siding with Optimus Prime.

Guys at the Paramount, don't go for the numbers. This movie is a blockbuster. Go for the sequel, please improve the marketing in the next one, and this is one of the movies which deserves a sequel. It will be a shame if that doesn't happen.
