that is quite annoying, everybody online says this, but that doesn't cut it, i refunded the game because of this error that make me crash 2min into the game, everytime i open the door on the first wooden shed tried to lower a bit the graphic, i could get past the door, and after that it crashed on the first cinematic of the first zombe you encounter in the basement. i have an MSI rtx 3070 I7 11700k 32g 3600mhz ram; and can't make this game runs unless i put off ray tracing the one thing that card is suppose to run, that's insane, and capcom doesn't do anything to fix their game.

Wanted to see if one month later they patched it or if there is a real solution; still nothing, that's crazy...

your damn right its annoying.. completed the game without crashing and now after nvidia driver update cant play five minutes. Thanks for this, i really hope it works

Useless tips for anyone but the most novice of pc user, this issue exists regardless of graphics settings still. I go from low to high and everywhere in between, still crashes when I'm getting over 100 fps. Obviously my gear isn't that stressed, temps are low and game runs great... it just crashes too frequently for comfort.

None of these have worked at all, My partner has done all these for me and we have even reinstalled windows and nothing has worked, I cant even get into the game to lower the graphics and THIS is what capcom has told MANY RE4R players

I appreciate this vid thanks, but it didn't work for me. I did digging and decided it was prolly the recent windows update, so i did busy work to it and and finally after downgrading to what it was right before this problem it worked. i did everything you mentioned, at first i thought it was the new graphics update, but lowering a windows update it works like it did.
