@DrArinbjorn Comodo uses the cloud to send all unknown files for verification. It will temporarily keep such file it hadn't recognized in the sandbox until the cloud confirms that it is clean.Keep in mind that you can run items in the sandbox with less or more restrictions as you see necessary. The reasons they are sandboxed is because such files are not yet whitelisted or they are indeed unsafe.

D+ is still the backbone of Comodo. At least they are trying to cut down on the end user having to make all of the decisions. Looks promising.

Hey Languy99. I am a huge fan of your reviews, and a user of CIS Complete, for 2 years, because of your reviews. I would like to see a review of CIS, paired with Malwarebytes Pro, AND/OR, PC Doctor, to see if it is better to run them together, or if it is better to run CIS, by itself. I would like you to show a test with CIS 2012, vs. CIS 2012 WITH Malwarebytes Pro, and / or, Kingsoft PC Doctor. @P0V3RTY09 yes but most files won't even work in the sandbox...that said everyone might as well just set their sandbox settings to "Blocked" seeing as how putting it on "partially limited" barely restricts it at all, and putting it on anything higher than that will make unknown files fail to run properly, you CAN however run things in the on demand sandbox on partially limited and be totally protected from the unknown file (i found that out a few days before posting this.

@TheMysteriousCrow Sandboxing is actually really "anti-user" in that the user still runs their crap but their system is protected.

If they believe the program to be legit and enter CC info, yeah, they're screwed. There's not much any program can do about that besides trying to blacklist the millions of malicious files created all the time.

But how can you tell if a sand-boxed program is mall-ware or not, scan with other AV's once installed or what? Comodo it's not n00b friendly that's for sure. People will realize that some installed program will disappear after restart. Also some alerts are kind of cryptic. How many people know what a sand-box means and how it works? Or what partially limited is? I cannot recommend this AV to beginners and defense+ is for knowledgeable people.

@languy99 Okay also could you test Auslogics Anti virus some time? I like their other products like boostspeed, registry cleaner and disk defrag and I would like to see how their computer protection is.

@TheMysteriousCrow If you enter the information in the scamware and it trys to send the information to the hackers, an alert will appear asking if you want the scamware to connect to the internet. If you click block, nothing will be sent out of the sandbox because you blocked its access to the internet.
