The RK2020 is a powerful little portable emulation device capable of playing N64 and even Dreamcast games. While it suffers some technical problems, the price might just make up for its flaws...

I actually really love the "cheap" aesthetic. The plastic and buttons really look like something from 1997 lol

5:57 you're not supposed make a folder named "emulec_copy_roms_from_here". You're supposed to make a folder called "roms" with a FILE in it called "emulec_copy_roms_from_here" with no file extension.

“It’s not my fault they keep firing these out left and right.” I don’t know Bob, it seems like you are single-handedly keeping these popular.

I just love how these hand helps look and I just leave the feel of having one. Also the purple version of the rk2020 looks really nice.

It's not about the processor, it's about the emulator and the optimization of said emulator when it comes to N64

Every video of yours, I scan the thumbnail to see where you placed the Nintendo Switch. This one was pretty hard to spot.

6:27 It kinda technically is, that’s Midnight Commander, it dates from 1994! And it was made as a unix clone to Norton Commander, the de facto ms dos file manager

I've noticed those same optical illusions in older games too. I think that you notice the "wavey" stripped patterns in older games more on modern TVs than old TVs because it was hidden by the rastor lines in old school CRT TVs.

Every time I see Megaman Zero as the game you use in your examples it makes me happy, I love that series and I'm glad you're still giving it a shot despite the first one being not that good compared to the other 3. (2 and 3 especially are amazing).

You should mention that it's a clone of the odroid go advance. Also look at the odroid go advance black edition.

13:37 Retroarch needs the bios file itself to be *explicitly named* and placed in the "system folder", or a folder that Retroarch is directed to locate such directory files (default should be *system* ). It will tell you in the 'Core Information' section all the bios files its looking for and what the name needs to be. It will look for USA region as well as PAL but you generally don't need the PAL or whatever unless you want to play a "imported game".

Its the same way on the PC. A lot of people run into this issue with PS1, Dreamcast and whatnot. Its a simple fix, but unless you're told or look it up, it can be harder to figure out.

Hope this helps.

Got my 2ds XL with MK7 at walmart for 99 dollars brand new, and I can confirm it’s running Mario 64 at full speed 60 percent of the time

I just bought the RG350M the other day and It was on sale! I would love N64 and Dreamcast emulation that this device has but I'll save that for my PC. Mostly gonna be playing pokemon and the megaman battle network games on the 350m anyway aswell as a few ps1 games. The build quality of the RG350M also had me sold rather than this.
