Great video! I compared compressed and uncompressed files by my own by making the same image using a tripod and the self timer. I could not see any differences visually too. But If you load both images into Photoshop and do a difference blending of them it is clearly visible that the compressed file is lossy. So depending on you needs and your aproach to raw files compressed files may be not the best solution.

There is no such thing as lossless compression - period. At best, only extremely contrasted photos are capable of somewhat lossless compression, furthermore you can’t compare uncompressed and lossless on your monitor - holy cow! Too much to explain here just trust me.
