Ive just bought one of these, i before had a 500gb m.2 nvme ssd but when i replace it with this new one i cant load up. Message just says checking media presence, start PXE over IPv6, no valid offer recievied.

I got an hm omen prebuilt pc... I'm tying to change the SSD on it NVME western digital.. But I took the cover off (SSD2) and it just a cushiony pad.. I dont even see a drive in there, yet my PC is using it.. I'm soo confused.

Hey, I'm using a PC where the m.2 slot sits underneath my GPU. I'm wondering if the heat for GPU could damage the m.2 drive if it doesn't have a heatsink.

and the wd black sn 770 is not seen on the bios
the samsung 980 and PNY 500 GB XLR8 CM3031 are working in the bios can you help

Just got this i dont have a heat protector is there a sticker or something on amazon i can buy also is okay to run without heat protection? Thats what im doing now i have a gaming labtop and its starting to bog down and saw i had an extra spot and just out it in

I work with linux (ubuntu) and I want to to repplae model SN750 WD for this model, I guest I'll have to install ubuntu again from scratch, rigth?. I ask because you've metioned that there is no need to do anything in windows, but I don't know for a linux ... thanks

i’ve just bought this same exact ssd and when i go to put it in and turn on the pc all it shows is a black screen and wont post, any tips on how to fix it? i have a EZ debug led and it lights up the VGA led.
