"Prepare to die Earth Scum" is one of my all time favourite movie quotes. Loved this film as a kid.

I'm a little buzzed right now, but I still remember my Opa (German for Grandfather) taking me to this and enjoying the heck out of it as a little guy (love the Martian who was the pilot). Your channel provides a lot of joy for people. Carry on bud! XD

Still one of my favorites. Saw it in the theater 5 times and watch it every year around Halloween.

5:43 - I've watched this underrated movie more than I should have throughout my life and can positively state that the towns people are less angry at the fact that there's no way out of Big Bean (beyond normal roadways) and more at the fact that their new highway off-ramp has been destroyed before its time, seeking mob vengeance against The Martians simply out of spite. A good joke in my opinion.

I loved this movie. I remember when my dad brought it home from the video store. I was skeptical, but I loved it. I still quote lines from this. My dad still refers to people as Captain Bipto from time to time.

I love Spaced Invaders I pull out my copy and watch it regularly. The special effects are passable and have stood the test of time a hell of a lot better than some big budget flicks of the time. The movie never trys to be more than it is and you can sit back and enjoy the ride.

Sam's played by Douglas Barr, who played Colt Seavers's nephew, Howie, on the action series, "The Fall Guy". He later became an episodic director, working on "Sweet Valley High".

One of my favorites when I was a kid. Just introduced this movie to some friends a couple months ago.

My favorite line from this movie was, "They're not evil, just stupid." Brilliant.

Man, I loved this movie when I was younger.

Then, when I got a bit older (and discovered weed) I rediscovered it.

Now, I’ve tried to show it to my kids.

My oldest daughter said it was lame and old — the exact quote included “... so old it should be in black and white.”

On the other hand, my youngest daughter loves it; she thinks it’s hilarious and like the “Jack Nicholson” alien.

Well... I know who’s not gonna be in the Will.

I remember my older brother taking me to see this in the theater, and I thought it was pretty funny. Even my brother was laughing at some of it.
It actually holds up pretty well and shows what practical effects can accomplish, even if they're simple.

When you mentioned the Martians I instantly remembered them with the telephone. They were so awesome. Yup yup yup yup.

I love this movie. One of my good friends who sadly passed away about three years ago had a halloween ritual where he and his family would watch this every time the holiday rolled around without fail. I tagged along and watched this with them for three or four years. I have some great, but bittersweet memories of watching this with my friend and his family before he died. I'll have to go back and watch it again some time.

This is one of those movies I haven't seen since I was kid. Basically forgot about it. It was one of those things that just felt like a dream, until I experienced it again. It all slowly came back to me. I feel transported. Thanks for the reminder. Nostalgia was what got me here all those years ago. The fact that you loved Freaked when I asked about it didn't surprise me, but felt awesome. Only my family members know it, cause my dad showed it to me when I was a kid. That and Killer Klowns (which ruined dream from ages 5-10). I'm okay now, in case you were wondering.

Loved this movie then... still love it now! For me, it was a college classic that I shared with my kids later in life.

Oh man! I watched this way back on VHS... the only part I remembered was the aliens singing "home on the range" and someone dressed as a duck tackling someone else while screaming "YOU'RE ALIVE"

At some point, I thought it was a fever dream...

Thank you, goodbadflicks

I worked at a movie theatre when thus came out. It's always been a guilty pleasure for me. I even kept the poster from the theatre.
