10 years of flatpack assembly here...

I lay all the pieces out on the floor and sort them into separate piles so things are easy to find. If the hardware comes all in one bag, I take 2 minutes to sort it all and spread it out off to the side. Having everything laid out and sorted is a timesaver even if it does take 15 minutes to unpack.

A 12 volt drill is smaller and less heavy so your arm wont tire as quickly.

Carry a double ended mallet with a soft and softer end for gentle persuasions when needed and a small lighter hammer for nailing the backs on. A regular hammer or the short handled hammer she is using is overkill for pressboard furniture.

And KNEE PADS. Your knees will thank you later in life.

43 an hour is not enough I do a king size bed under 1 hour I charge around 80-100 for it depending on purchasing cost. Before task rabbit ikeas quote were 70$ for under 300$ and 20$ + 20% for more than 300$ I go roughly with 15% of purchase value as quote if it’s a further drive etc it’s fifferent. no hourly. Even better is building gyms I did a job 2 weeks ago. Disassembly of a treadmill a Elyptical and a multi gym than move it to the new place van was provided and assemble it. Took me 10 hours with driving which was 2-1/2 hours itself. Made 800

Me and my friends we do like handyman work
And when they get furniture assembling jobs they always call me to help them
Because there are so many little pieces

And they asked me like how do you do it

And its truth what you say just read the manual instructions and follow the steps from step #1
And number one thing its to be patient and not try to take short cuts by trying to skip steps or trying to do it without the manual

I just do it for fun and i liked the challenge that it brings and the feeling once its done its really rewarding
And i really enjoyed solving those jobs just like a puzzles and challenges

Thank you
Credit and respect to you
Keep it up

Just found your channel. You, single handedly, encouraged me to set up my own task rabbit profile and now I'm live. Nervous? Yes! But if you can do it, I can.

I used that black tool and still got chips in the wardrobe I was assembling, People have recommended buying a staple gun for this. I have one now, but haven't used it yet.

Thank you! Looking to get started in this kind of business. Handy qualities run in my family so I'm not intimidated by the work itself

Great video i just started task rabbit 2 weeks ago taking a few jobs here and there, thanks for the tips luckily I have a bunch of high end tools already from being a Geeksquad home theater installer for 10 years. Mallets are better for tapping pieces together without damaging the finish on them so I would still carry one of those, I prefer Milwaukee, Dewalt batteries are garbage I have both brands

I was about to start doing this part time and your video just saved me from showing up with a bunch of tools I didn't need! You mentioned a sawzall at the end.. Dewalt makes a pretty good 1 handed recip hackzall that's lightweight and would pair nicely with your drill! thank you for the video!🍻

The only thing that would improve this video is if you put your Amazon affiliate links to all of the products mentioned in the video (especially that drill bit set). Liked & subscribed!

Do you recommend a drill or a driver for furniture assembly? I’d hate to strip the head or overdrill if it’s too powerful ?

Hi, have you done any tv mounting? I never mounted a tv on a wall, not even mines. I was thinking about it but I would need to look through youtube videos to learn to do it. But also I'm scared of I mount a tv for a client and all of sudden the tv falls of the wall. So I'm debating on it.
