I feel bittersweet about the format.... On one hand they have given choice for the units but then there is also MCQs ....

This means we have to use 2 strategies to study... One for MCQs and one for theory....

Sir i had bought your books for semester 1 and they were very helpful but the thing is that there were some errors in the answers of the answer key and there were several spelling and grammatical errors in the questions which made it a bit hard to understand the questions.

I, on behalf of all my fellow candidates would request you to minimise such errors as much as possible if you would release another set of books for semester 2

It is a very welcome move by CICSE to publicise specimen papers for Semester 2.

1) It is praiseworthy that as a student friendly board, they are giving 10 marks MCQ allowing maximisation of marks .

2) I am not sure whether this liberty will be allowed in Second Language Paper ( because CICSE has to accommodate Essay & Letter writing in one paper along with the literature ).

3) STRANGELY, while in almost all papers, outside the MCQ part, a total of 3 ( THREE) QUESTIONS OUT OF 5 ( FIVE ) ARE TO BE ANSWERED. That is good enough.
But IN PHYSICS, It becomes tougher .as 3 ( THREE) OUT OF 4 ( FOUR) Questions are to be answered thereby reducing choices for students .
