Bruce Soord, the multi instrumentalist, song writer extraordinaire returns with “Dear Life” the first single to be taken from his forthcoming, third studio album Luminescence.

Bruce Soord comments on the single - ‘Dear Life’, which opens the record, doesn't need much explaining. ‘Don’t wish that it will all be over, in the sweetest blink of an eye’. We are always told not to let life pass us by, but it’s easier said than done. And before you know it, it’s done. As my life in particular starts to age, it was an easy subject to relate to. It’s actually sung from the perspective of an elderly parent, on their deathbed, to their child.

Beautiful piece ... I love this melancholy side of Bruce.. It's what I prefer, actually, although the topic is obviously dark. Such a slencid orchestration, I love andrew Skeet's work, like me he oovbviously loves to work mostly with strings an dwoodwinds... Only regret : I wish the song would be a bit more developped, with a musical bridge and some instrumental part, before it could come back to the theme that goes throughout. If this is a hint of the musical direction of the new album, I'm eager to own it !

Love everything that Bruce does but just seen the 'tour' dates and so disappointed. What kind of 'tour' is that ?

Please make an effort with a few more UK dates - north of the M25, Scotland, Ireland, WALES (yes please - you know you don't have to pay to get over the bridge anymore 😀).
